Never forget where you came from...your roots. Treat everyone you meet like they are your family, bc thats how you would want a brother/sister to treat your family when they need help. Ask for help. Help others, even if they dont ask. Respect the rank, even if you dont respect the individual. Work your ass off as a blue shirt. Its the only way blue shirts will work for you when you promote up. Try to learn something new every shift. Leave work at work and home at home. Take classes and get your degree. Your career can end just like that. Love what you do, because youre doing what you love. If you dont love it anymore, transfer somewhere else or find a new career.

I love everything your page stands for. As a rookie who is still on probation I found your page shortly after getting on. I train everyday to emulate the same values keep the promise stands for. I hope this group inspires the new and future generation and gets the old salty guys to remember why we started. I put this sticker on my helmet too remember what I signed up for and it must also be a good luck charm, it got me 2- 2 alarm fires in the same shift!!!
