Great routine

Joined my fire brigade at work with the ultimate goal to hopefully join a department in the future. Started off embarrassingly running 1 mile in 14 minutes and stopping even before a half mile. Got my butt kicked at our fire brigade training. 2 weeks into the program my cardio has noticeably improved. Got a mile down to 10 minutes (still working ) and had training again this week (more intense) and I crushed it. 10/10 would recommend. It makes me want to work out and makes me feel healthier and gets me closer to my goal to serve the community in my best form. The substitute exercises are a huge help if you don’t have certain equipment. I won’t lie the workouts are killer but I shocked myself just 2 weeks in on my physical improvement.

Great Program

Just finished the Fit for Service 8 week program and starting my the Performance Protocol and Fireground Strength programs. It has kept me sweating and getting stronger all summer. Delaying ordering more uniforms to see where I end up. Definitely going to be cycling. Through these programs several times.

never stuck to anything til now

tried p90x, apps, all that. always quit. this one’s different. the mix of workouts + how it’s made for fire service stuff…idk it just clicks. finally got a routine that doesn’t feel like a chore.

keeps me in the game

had some bad back tweaks lately. almost tapped out. gave fit for service a shot after my captain mentioned it. not a magic fix but it’s helpin me last longer on shift without feeling trashed after. huge win.

thought i was in shape...

been doin the job 9 yrs but was always wrecked after fires. started fit for service and man...my joints feel better and i actually finish shifts with gas in the tank. love how it’s built for how we move. didn’t expect much tbh but this one’s worth it.
